Objective:
To engage Illinois State University students in a social media campaign that encourages them to explore and share their career aspirations. By participating in the contest, students gain the opportunity to be featured on Career Services' social media channels, win prizes, and connect with the Career Services director. This contest aims to inspire students to think critically about their career paths and increase awareness of Career Services’ support in achieving these goals.
Concept & Inspiration:
This campaign is designed to be motivational, echoing the supportive message of Career Services’ “Your Future Starts Here” theme. The visual design is inspired by a retro, energetic style to appeal to a student demographic. The contest structure leverages social media engagement by encouraging students to submit videos about their career goals, fostering a sense of community and competition among peers.
Design Elements:
Color Palette: Red and beige tones to stay consistent with Illinois State University’s branding and add a warm, inviting feel.
Typography: Bold, impactful fonts to grab attention and clearly convey the contest details, aligning with the motivational tone of the campaign.
Imagery & Icons: Speech bubble icons and social media symbols are incorporated to reflect the interactive nature of the contest, creating a visually engaging experience.
