Objective:
To create promotional materials for a Career Exploration event in partnership with Rivian, aimed at engaging students interested in careers focused on climate, conservation, and community. The objective was to align the design with Rivian’s brand while emphasizing the themes of sustainability and community involvement.

Concept & Inspiration:
Inspired by Rivian’s commitment to environmental innovation and sustainability, the design adopts Rivian’s signature yellow to create brand consistency and reinforce the partnership’s credibility. The materials aim to convey an approachable, educational tone, encouraging students to explore career paths in green technology and community-focused roles. The choice of colors and layout reflects both ISU’s academic professionalism and Rivian’s modern, eco-conscious image.

Design Elements:

  • Color Palette: Predominantly yellow, reflecting Rivian’s brand color, complemented by neutral tones to maintain readability and focus on the event details.

  • Typography: Clean, modern fonts to appeal to a younger audience and ensure readability, with emphasis on key terms like "Climate," "Conservation," and "Community" to highlight the event’s themes.

  • Imagery: Subtle nature and environmental imagery to reinforce the focus on sustainability and conservation without overshadowing the text.

Execution:
