Objective
The goal of this project was to create an engaging and educational comic about climate change. Titled "Care for Your Home," the comic simplifies complex environmental issues and delivers them in a playful, accessible format. By using lighthearted visuals and conversational humor, the project seeks to inspire reflection and action on climate change while making the subject matter approachable for a broad audience.

Concept & Inspiration
This comic was born out of my passion for environmental advocacy and storytelling. The character of Earth—a cheerful yet increasingly concerned figure—serves as the focal point to narrate the story. The illustrations represent Earth’s interactions with other planets, the sun, and humanity, highlighting global warming and its impact on the environment. I wanted the comic to feel relatable and hopeful, yet impactful enough to inspire change, balancing the serious tone of the topic with fun, illustrative elements.

Design Elements

• Color Palette: Bright greens and blues symbolize a vibrant, healthy planet, contrasted with grays and blacks to represent environmental harm.

• Typography: Friendly, rounded typefaces emphasize the comic’s playful tone while keeping the educational message approachable.

• Imagery: Simple yet expressive illustrations of Earth, planets, and environmental elements (e.g., factories, wildfires, and greenery) communicate the story visually and clearly.

• Narrative Style: Speech bubbles with conversational, humorous dialogue create a relatable tone, making the message easier to digest.

Execution
The project was created digitally, with each illustration sketched and refined in Adobe Illustrator. I developed the narrative, wrote dialogue, and planned the layout to ensure seamless storytelling. Careful attention was given to creating a visual hierarchy that would guide readers through the comic in an engaging way.

Conclusion
"Care for Your Home" is a celebration of art as a tool for education and advocacy. Through this project, I explored the intersection of storytelling and environmentalism, crafting a piece that is both informative and visually captivating. This comic reflects my commitment to using creativity to inspire positive change and connect with audiences on vital global issues.
