Objective:
To design a visually engaging weekly event graphic for Illinois State University Career Services that promotes upcoming career events. This design is intended to inform students of available career development opportunities, providing event details in an accessible, organized format. The flyer encourages students to participate in virtual and in-person events that support their career growth.

Concept & Inspiration:
Inspired by the modern, student-friendly style used across Career Services, this design was developed to create a consistent and easy-to-read weekly event template. With the bold "Career Events This Week" header, the layout captures attention immediately and guides students to view each event by date. The format balances readability with visual appeal, using icons and images to enhance engagement and make event types easy to identify.

Design Elements:

• Color Palette: University colors (red and white) to maintain brand consistency while making the graphic visually cohesive.

• Typography: Bold and clean fonts to enhance readability and organization, making it easy for students to scan the events quickly.

• Imagery & Icons: Relevant icons for events (such as handshake or briefcase symbols) provide instant context for event themes, while photos add a human touch to make the information relatable.

• Layout: Structured in a grid format, with each event block containing the date, event title, time, and location to ensure clarity and logical flow.

Execution:
Each event is segmented by date, allowing students to easily identify the details for individual sessions. The color-coded boxes and dotted dividers make the design visually organized, while icons for each event provide quick cues about the content. The use of QR codes and website links at the bottom makes it convenient for students to access more information directly.

Conclusion:
This project supports Career Services' mission to actively engage students by making career event information accessible and visually compelling. The layout ensures consistency week-to-week, encouraging students to anticipate and check upcoming career-related opportunities. This design highlights the importance of clear communication and brand alignment in university marketing materials.
